Client Testimonial

Revolve Roundabout

“Most officers who develop play areas in Local Authorities are always on the lookout for a truly inclusive piece of equipment which can be used by all abilities, and East Lothian Council is no exception. We were looking for a roundabout which was “inclusive” and not in any way “exclusive” and I think Inclusive Play Ltd come close with this item.

“The prototype “Revolve” was installed at Lodge Grounds in North Berwick in June 2007 and went down a storm with children of all ages and abilities (and a few adults!). It spins and rocks and has a ledge around the edge of the bowl which makes wheelchair users access so much easier and reduces the amount of lifting required by carers. The shape of the bowl also reduces the risk of children tumbling out when it starts to spin. The item was so popular that East Lothian Council have since bought another 3 for other parks with no problems reported.”
